Pentair SuperFlo VS Variable Speed Pool Pump - 115/230v

This is an excellent pump. It is quiet, you can set the speed and shut off time, and it seems very weather resistant so far. I would definitely buy this pump again.

Pump arrived very quickly. Self installation was straight-forward for someone with DIY experience. Replaced a 1hp single-speed motor and pump. The Superflo is powerful enough to run a Barracuda pool vacuum in an average size pool. At all speeds, it is quiet, almost silent on the lowest two settings. It has only been installed for one week, so cannot speak to longevity. Hope it lasts many years.

Arrived quickly, straight forward installation, performing great, too early to tell how this will improve my electric bill.

I installed the Pentair Superflo VS to replace a single speed 1.5 HP motor/pump. Very easy to install and I have already noticed over $35 per month savings on my electricity bill. (I installed this pump in July 2018). Slow speed is very quiet but you definitely hear it when running at 3450 RPM. It is still much quieter than my single speed pump. I run it at 3450 RPM for 1 hour, then drop it to 3000 RPM for 2 hours and then drop it to 1400 RPM for 7 hours. My pool is clean, chlorine levels have been perfect, and water is turning over at least once while on this schedule for my size pool. (12,500 gallons). The Superflo uses much less kilowatts than a single speed pump. I wish I would have installed this pump years ago to realize the savings and benefits. Would definitely buy Pentair again. Pool Cleaning Parts had the best price and I definitely did my research before making the purchase.

I bought the Pentair VS Superflo pump to replace an ancient system, after doing a lot of research and considering numerous reviews. It's fabulous! Looks great, works great and saves me money. Relatively easy to install. Great price.

The pump is very easy to install and operate. The operating panel is very straight forward and easy to program and adjust the settings. I would highly recommend.

I needed to replace my 15 year old Pentair Challenger and did many reviews on many different pump replacements and ultimately decided on the SuperFlo VS. Those reviews steering me towards this were all spot on. This pump is and excellent choice. Easy and straight forward to swap out. Programming was simple. Love the variable speed which will save me money on my power bill. The only one negative caveat is directed at the warranty policy of the manufacturer. Professionally installed will give you a full 3 years warranty, however, for the do-it-yourselfers, your warranty is reduced to 1 year. This is ridiculous and the manufacturer should be ashamed. The savings of doing it myself vs. paying a professional outweighed having to re-purchase another unit.

Super-pleased with both Pool Cleaning Parts and the SuperFlo. The pump arrived in two days. I replaced my old pump in an afternoon.

I received my new Pentair SuperFlo VS Pool Pump last week, and installed the device myself. I'm not a professional nor plumber by all means, but the installation was not too bad. Found a few YouTube videos regarding installation which made the process much easier. I recommend spending a few bucks ($20) to purchase a PVC pipe cutting tool as it was a much easier and cleaner cut. Once installed the new pump works perfectly. 200 times more quiet than the old single speed Pentair pump replaced, and looking forward to the energy savings next season. My utility company also offered a $350 rebate which means I should expect to break even on my purchase in only one year. Highly recommend this pump to pool owners looking for a much quieter and efficient pump. Will check back next season after reviewing my energy bill.

Very pleased with the price, prompt delivery and the ease of installation. This replaces a competitor's variable speed pump that went brain dead (controller unit failure) after four short years. So far the pump is working well and is very quiet. I am hoping it lasts much longer than the old pump.

Pump is a good product. Getting basic help with programming if conflicts arise in software is non existent. PoolCleaningParts said they do not provide tech support. Long hold times with Pentair. Just fair warning

I got this pump in July and installed it and it worked great until the pool was shut down for the winter. Just opened the pool and the pump won't work, the lights won't come on the controller, there is power to the controller but it has already went out. Not very happy with spending 660.00 for a pump and have it only last for 3 months.

Bought this pump based on the fact that it had good reviews and it was the only pump that would do 110v and 220v. I have had it for about a month now and am very happy with it.

Very quite. Haven't received an electric bill yet but based on the wattage reading and the way my pool professional set up the clock, I should be saving about 75%. So far, I love it.

Great service and fast shipping. Pentair SuperFlo VS was ordered for a customer to use for a fountain project. Customer did the install and set-up himself so product was easy to use and install.

This replaced a single speed Pentair Whisperflo. The old pump used 290 kwhr per month and the Pentair SuperFlo VS runs at half the watts but twice as long. Very pleased.

So far so good after having it installed professionally. However, the drive head was not plugged into the pump, and had to call Pentair to make a warranty claim to have someone come out to fix it. Not any ones fault, things happen. Overall, good experience with poolcleaningparts.com and Pentair customer service. My pool is still clean so happy with SuperFlo VS pump so far. I look forward to the significant savings on my electric bill at the end of the month.
