Pentair ScreenLogic2 Connection and Wireless Kit

I read the manual before purchasing to make sure I could install it myself. I installed it in no time. I used the existing wiring I had for the wireless remote that broke, and same case that was screwed to the wall, just replaced the green board that goes inside. Never had a connection issue, works perfectly!!

Helpful to review the documentation online (Pentair website) to plan the install before ordering. There is a transceiver that goes near your control panel, and a second transceiver and a small interface unit (with web server) that goes near your network switch / router / access point. Installation, once organized, is easy.The Windows app (free download from Pentair) is gorgeous. The Android apps are functional but not beautiful; the iPhone app is great. ScreenLogic is *essential* if you need to be able to control pool/spa functions remotely.

Instructions lacking. Works intermittently and can t get remote capability working. Therefore must be connected to WiFi to operate which means I could just walk over to indoor controller. Greatly lacking in technical support. Website message says to contact a local pool service.

First, PCP was awesome. Great price, on time delivery. I had done my research, so I knew what the installation entailed. I installed the Pentair Screenlogic 2 hardware and a new pump breaker in about an hour. The software is little tricky as the PC program brings up an initial window with a button to launch the control application or the configuration application. Once I figured out what it was doing, it was easy to get into the software to fix the programming on my variable speed pump. But come on Pentair, once everything is configured, I just want to launch the control application. "Programming" the EasyTouch is not the easiest thing. You have to understand the priorities it uses when two schedules are active. You also have to be aware that the EasyTouch only allows for 12 programming items (schedules, egg timers and one-time events). On the 13th it silently fails and even if you delete another item, the 13th item will never work. You must delete it and add it again. Oh yes, the Android app is awful for anything but controlling the circuits. The iPhone app is much better. It has been close to two years since the Android app was updated. Perhaps Pentair will get their software act together some day. So I took back 1 star for the software being a bit of a pain.

I've been looking to add Screenlogic to our 4 year old pool that had an Easytouch system and an older Pentair wireless remote. PoolCleaningParts had the best price available, shipping was quick, and the product arrived in good condition. Installation was very easy as I simply replaced the existing antenna for the old wireless remote, plugged in the receiver and protocol adapter, and the app immediately recognized my system. I did have to download the software to my computer to be able to add a password for remote login. I agree with the other reviews that the instructions make this more confusing than it needs to be. While it's clear the technology isn't the latest and greatest (separate protocol adapter and wireless receiver, in 2020?) and the iOS app could be improved, it's still a HUGE upgrade on using the older remote. So much easier to program and change settings on the pool. Wish I had upgraded years ago!

I just installed a second unit and it was fairly quick and easy. Works great and I can access my equipment from anywhere I get Wi Fi.

Installation was very simple. I did purchase wiring from HomeDepot so I could extend the unit from the pool panel to a block wall. Ended up using AC Thermostat wiring. Worked great. Balance of the setup was easy.

We purchased the 522104 Pentair ScreenLogic2 Connection and Wireless Kit to add on to our Pentair Easy Touch system. It was easy to install by using a video on the internet. The price was the best at Poolcleaningparts.com. We can now check our pool from anywhere with our smart phone and our pool maintenance company can monitor our pool remotely as well. Great product at a great price!

This has been a real life-saver for helping me control my heating bills. The hardware was really easy to install and I can now control my pool/spa functions from my phone or computer. Once installed, everything automatically connected to my pool equipment; no set-up on the app was required. Can't recommend this highly enough!

After consistently needing a wireless / remote kit, I found this product online @ Pool Cleaning Parts in Las Vegas. The price and shipping from PCP was spot on without any issues. The only negative I have: Pentair needs to go back to the drawing board and completely re-write their installation instructions. Cut through the endless verbiage and simplify! Example: Connect part A to point B. Connect the four wires (C) to the ports (as indicated on image). Mount item D to the wall. When you have completed the installation, plug in E and let it connect to the wireless router... Download the app @ _______________ and configure your Settings. You get the point. I mean, the directions were really AWFUL - but after the job was finished, I concluded that it all could have been completed with a simple one or two page diagram.

This product is amazing. First time in 12 years I have had complete easy control of my entire backyard electrical system.

I installed the ScreenLogic2 adapter 3 years ago. I had to return it under warranty. The replacement unit failed too in the same way. Pentair wont service this adapter without an invoice (the pool builder bought the adapter - unreachable). Wasted money.

It works great The insulation was easy but Understanding how the remote software was confusing. I called the help number and they told me how to finish it. They could make it a lot easier if the change the manual

Excellent system and App to control my whole pool from home or when traveling. Receive email notification when freeze alarms started or when cycling.

Product was shipped fast and it was as described. At first glance, the task of hooking this up seemed daunting. However, that couldn't have been farther from the truth. It literally took me 30 minutes to get this thing rocking. It took another 20 minutes logging in and setting up the account and then labeling the buttons so I know what each controls. We love the ease of use and I highly encourage this product

Great product, seems all the issues and bugs have been worked out in these later revisions of hardware and software.

Install was very easy and had no problems getting this kit installed and working with our Intellitouch system. The iOS and Android apps work well. The Mac version of the software gives you full control over your system and makes changing your setup/programming very easy. After 1 month of use, have had no issues accessing the system either at home or from hundreds of miles away over the internet. Very happy I added this to our pool.

The Pentair ScreenLogic2 is an excellent product, allows us to monitor and change most of the settings and features of both our pool and spa. Windows version is more extensive than the Android version in terms of things you can change/control....but more than sufficient. Good user interface, easy to use. Would recommend to a friend.
