So far, so good. This is the exact model number I had for seven years. The combustion chamber rusted out, and the control board failed numerous times. Some terminal wires actually corroded off their sensors!

This new model has a powder-coated chamber, a big improvement from the last model that had nothing on it. We'll see how it stands up after the one year warranty expires.

We have used it twice since having it installed. It worked properly.

The cost was pretty good from PoolCleaningParts dot com. $2,999 including shipping and no tax. I paid $600 for two people to remove the old one and install the new one. Local costs were higher, in some cases almost double!

Installation lessons learned: The unit comes pre setup for 220 volt power. I use 110 on my unit. When we turned it on, the fan came on but we got an ACS error. Restting it, we got a burner error. After reading the manual, it turned out that the 220 volt plug had to be moved. After that, it worked great. Beware if you have 110, because you will need to set this properly. If you have 220 and set this plug accidentally to 110, it will kill your unit and void the warranty.
You also have to turn the internal gas switch to "ON."

Simple installation, but it does take some effort to do properly, even in an identical replacement setting.
