When the pool technician arrive he informed me that the broken Intellichlor 40 was still under Warranty. I called to request to return the new Intellichlor 40 that was never taken out of the box my request was denied, do the box being open. Also the Pentair Technician informed me that when you buy a Pentair part from a E commerce Dealer, Pentair does not cover the labor cost to replace the part(s)you purchased.

Works but odd...quick shipping

Bought this to replace my 8 year old one that stopped working. Arrived next day! Front plate was mounted opposite from my old one. Installed, the writing and lights are upside down. Maybe a blem? Anyway seems to work well.

Salt units generally last about 5 years. It look like Pentair made some improvements to the unit.
