Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 420 Sq. Ft. Cartridge Filter

Fast delivery and great price !

My pool man suggested this model of filter. It installed quickly and the water was clear in just a few hours. In spite of cleaning up dead shock, the pressure maintained and my pool has never looked as good!

Great price, Great company. Highly recomend!!

Bought this unit to replace a sand filter in which i hated. When I purchased the house I am currently in I knew I had to buy this unit, I wasn't going to deal with that nasty sand filter. I have always been a fan of this unit, it truly is one of the best overall!

I bought this unit to replace the same model that was 10 years old and leaking. The new unit was an exact fit for the one that I replaced and I was able to swap it out and have the new one in operation in about 10 minutes

We ordered this to replace the same cartridge filter that was installed when the pool was built. That one lasted us about 9 years in the Arizona sun. The filter was shipped with no damage, but the box looked like it took a bit of a beating from FedEx. Shipping was fast and price was very competitive. Our only complaint is that the middle, metal band/clamp that holds the top and bottom of the filter together is now dark black, not beige. Per poolcleaningparts.com, Pentair has made this change. That makes no sense to us since it no longer blends in with the color of the rest of the tank and of course black just attracts even more heat in the sun. Otherwise we would have rated the product 5 stars.

This is a workhorse product that worked flawless for 10 years and I bought again because the connecting collar finally failed and the filter pads needed replacement and the cost for the whole unit made a new one the right decision. My only complaint is as this unit ages, the fiberglass gets exposed by the hot Arizona sun and coming in contact with the top of the unit can irritate the skin.

I own three of these units for an apartment complex. They are very easy to maintain, the cartridges are easy to swap out when needed. I have an extra set of cartridges, which makes cleaning every 3-6 months easy. Just switch out two and clean. Followed by the other two the next cycle. Way easier then DE. Im glad I made the switch. Hope this helps

Upgraded from an old Pentair and the difference is night and day. Water has never been so clear, and so much less strain on my variable speed pump.

Very easy to install. Replaces old Hayward sand filter. In just 2 days of using the new Pentair cartridge Clear Plus 420 the water clarity was the best it has ever been . Outstanding clear blue water!!!
