So far so good

Hard to tell with these things how good they will actually protect. They seem well constructed. I bought two, one for my pool heat pump and one for the pool circulation pump and salt generator as they are on different circuits. So far so good. Easy to install. Lost some equipment from a nearby lightning strike, hoping these help protect me for next time. Would definitely purchase again. I also bought the AG3000 elsewhere for my air conditioning unit. Same thing essentially. Now my house glows green on both sides at night.

Good Insurance for Electronics

Perfect Surge Protection and designed to be compatible with new VSVF Pentair Pump. While it has not been needed yet, it's comforting to know I have this additional level of protection for the pump system at a reasonable price. It will pay for itself when needed.

Not a lot to say at this point. The unit has been in service for almost 1 month and there have been no issues. Thing is, it's one of those things that you don't know what it's doing. We haven't had any storms so far this spring, so it's likely there haven't been any surges. Only if there's a storm, and I find that the protector has died, can I assume that it did so whilst protecting my pump - that is of course, if the pump is still functioning OK after the protector sacrifices itself. Not an easy thing to review then. It was simple enough to install is really about all I can say for sure.
