Item is quite expensive for what it is and what it does. Easy to replace old unit with new control board. Easy to install the Wi-Fi unit. Best of all was the phone call to product support: the customer service rep took over the system remotely, did all the programming to manage a new Pentair Intelliflo VS pump, and helped me get going. Excellent customer support by the Zodiac/Jandy people.

PDA still works too (partially)

My experience was similar to the other positive posts. Plug and play. I have a basic spa/pool/heater setup with single speed motor... and it all fired up immediately. Watched YouTube videos and was methodical in transferring connectors. Having another person to hold things helps. The one thing I never saw mentioned in my browsing was how to connect your existing PDA (if you have one) so it can continue working along with your new app method. Answer: Continue to use your existing PDA RF antenna. Just wire it in parallel to the same connector that your new antenna uses. No setup required. Jandy cautions that the new iAquaLink board does not support all PDA functions but you still Bev's the basic ON/OFF capability. See picture of bothe receivers. Although it looks like it, they aren't sharing a single cable. Both cables run to the controller where they share a connector.

Did not work

Replaced current RS4 system board with this item. Board was unresponsive and eventually after several restarts all power was off to pumps. Put old board back in and everything worked fine. Clearly board was bad. Jandy won’t warranty product if not authorized seller/service co installe d.

Not for all Jandy systems

The web connection part of the order works fine to allow the app control of the system. However, this is not a universal upgrade for all Jandy systems. It will work if your pool and spa share a pump and heater. But if you have a dual equipment system (with two pumps and two heaters) this is not the right kit for your system.

Worked Great

I had an old Jandy system that used a PDA and wanted to upgrade. This part fit the panel perfectly, was literally plug and play installation.

Customer Service is awesome!

Excellent product and even better customer service! iAquaLink 2.0 RS works as advertised and I couldn't be more pleased. I originally ordered the wrong product, but Pool Cleaning Parts accepted my return, discounted the restocking fee and had the correct part I needed out to me in no time.

Q: I have an older RS8 with PDA. the board is fried. Iwas going to upgrade. what is difference between iaqualink900 and 2.0? also will the PDA still work? My girlfriend would prefer using PDA, but I want smart phone usage

A: The iAqaulinnk 900 is the old version of this iQ20-RS. Your existing PDA will only work to turn things on/off
